What to ask before you book
- “Which of your vets sees bearded dragons?” At many general practices only one vet sees reptiles, so book with that person by name.
- “What does a new-reptile exam include?” A good first visit covers weight, a full physical and a fecal test for parasites.
- “What do you do after hours?” Ask where they send reptile emergencies at night, and save that number now.
- Bring your setup details. Photos of the enclosure plus your UVB bulb type and age, basking temperature and diet help the vet more than anything else.
Our vet checklist covers the rest, including red flags and typical exam costs.

Listings are compiled from each clinic’s own website and checked by hand; we don’t take payment for listings and this is not an endorsement. Clinics change staff and services, so call ahead to confirm they can see your bearded dragon. Spot a change or know a reptile vet we missed? Email [email protected].
